Breastfeeding in public is normal. Breastfeeding toddlers is normal. Breastfeeding at work is normal. Combination feeding is normal. And when we make space for these realities, we make space for healthier families, stronger communities, and a Defence environment where women aren’t forced to choose between feeding their child and serving their country.

Across this week we’ve shown what support looks like, real rooms, real stories, real leadership. Now the call to action is clear: step up. Speak up. Challenge stigma when you see it. Build workplaces that don’t just “allow” breastfeeding but actively protect it. Make sure every parent who wants to breastfeed has the support, time, and dignity they deserve.

This isn’t about comfort. It’s about rights. It’s about readiness. It’s about respecting the lived experience of our people.
