the three cuts I did yesterday, I hated the second two could only expose a small amount of muscle on one before I gave up and started cutting where I usually do it on the right leg lmao
@nervosayoungman I know I hate it so much ๐ญ thank you! luckily my mum is going to call tomorrow and complain about how long I've had to wait so maybe they will sort it out soon ๐
@nervosayoungman pretty much anything that sticks I react too even hypoallergenic stuff ๐ญ I still use film dressings or silicone but I still get blisters and sores but I need to use something cause I hate wrap around bandages ๐
@nervosayoungman no unfortunately my skin reacts badly from adhesive so steris aren't really great plus they are all oozing so much they would probably come off anyway ๐
@nervosayoungman I'm not sure but I'll definitely discuss it all with my MH team as they won't be happy at all with the whole situation ๐ I'm also quite worried about getting an infection which if I do get a bad one I will definitely make a massive complaint
@nervosayoungman ironically it was only a couple weeks ago my MH team had a safeguarding meeting with this hospital regarding issues from a previous shit experience there so they are fully aware of the impact on me when they don't treat me and I was assured it would be better this time ๐
@nervosayoungman yeah they never used to be like this but now I feel like they think this kind of treatment will discourage me from doing it again but actually it's having the opposite effect and makes me want to do worse ๐ thank you I appreciate your kindness ๐ซถ
@emo12345678969 no honestly don't worry I was already concerned about it before you commented it's not your fault ๐ซ I have had hospitals leave wounds left open before it just depends on the situation and doctor etc so I will see what happens and hope they get closed eventually โบ๏ธ
@emo12345678969 I think also because there's exposed muscle the risk of infection is so high and can easily spread to other structures like bone so really they shouldn't be left open however I am worried they will tell me it's too late now even though its their fault it hasn't been closed yet ๐ซค
@emo12345678969 unfortunately this is the best hospital near me ๐ here usually it's within 24 hours the hospital wait times mean 8 hours is almost impossible, I have actually had week old cuts closed before usually they clean them out really well and put me on antibiotics
@thisisnotf27576 the crazy thing is out of my local hospitals this is the best one because the other 2 would straight up tell me they won't even close them anymore and just send me home ๐
@Steeledip@hyp3r_me0w3r just to let you know you're right about rubbing alcohol damaging healthy tissue it shouldn't be used on/in wounds, instead a saline solution can be bought in most pharmacies or can be made at home too, add 1/2-1 teaspoon of salt to every cup of boiled then cooled water ๐

cut my arm and leg but this is the first time I've actually properly cut to muscle on my arm so that was interesting, had a little arteriole I caught on video lmao
they haven't been closed yet I have to wait til Monday to hopefully see plastics
@NvrFallxn although arteriole bleeding can also still be dangerous if bleeding isn't stopped, I've required a blood transfusion from excessive bleeding despite not cutting any large blood vessels before
@NvrFallxn it's an arteriole which is a small branch of an artery so pressure stopped this fairly easy, I've cut an artery before and there was way more blood coming out but even that stopped with very firm pressure, but a cut artery needs medical attention even if the bleeding has stopped
