Okay. So hiragana and katakana were pretty easy to learn and memorize. The difficulty of lessons has spiked considerable since kanji has started being introduced. Feels much harder to remember.
I've even been replaying the Yakuza games to practice. Taking my time walking around and reading signs in the map to reinforce what I know. Or finding the karaoke lyrics in hiragana and writing them out in romaji.
(though I know barely any kanji yet so results are limited)
So, I spent over a decade kind of forgetting things, but....
I've finally started learning Japanese again. Learned how to read hiragana/katakana this past week. Still need practice but definitely getting there!

(Spoiler free) Endwalker's been pretty fun so far. Did the raids this morning too. Not bad fights, but difficulty was a little all over the place. One felt like a normal dungeon boss and a couple were a LOT busier but still not too bad. Just a lot to remember.

Got my second covid shot last night. Not too bad feeling today. Bit of a fever and sore arm but I still feel well enough to do my usual daily routine. Nice.
