@somefinnspecial@timfinnmusic@CrowdedHouseHQ I absolutely love this song; when I listen to it I have to play it at least twice so I can sing Tim’s part first and then sing Neil’s (and then play once more to just listen!)
@MattEOlivarez@somefinnspecial I remember seeing this by chance when it was originally broadcast (late night on BBC I think) - Neil Finn, Roddy Frame and Graham Gouldman playing their songs together - it was amazing!
@SoundsFamiliarB “Eternally bound to Crowded House” - great phrase , I feel the same! I first discovered the god-like genius of Neil Finn’s songwriting when I was 14 and his music has been woven through my life ever since. There’s lots of artists whose music I love, but CH are just special.
@SoundsFamiliarB Certainly - because being a fan doesn’t mean you slavishly adore everything an artist releases (and “bestselling” doesn’t necessarily mean “best”!). I hope other fans would understand, in the same way we can all have different favourite tracks.
@SoundsFamiliarB 😀 doesn’t matter what you sound like - just turn the music up a bit more and enjoy your singalong! Love this song - in fact this whole album.
@SoundsFamiliarB “Any record that mentions Belsize Park and dancing in stilettos in the snow can’t be all bad, but this one’s trying very hard…” - Stephen Tin Tin Duffy (as he was known back then), guest record reviewer for Smash Hits in 1985.
@Joannechocolat That’s great news! Absolutely agree - go to any checkups/scans/examinations that are recommended, but don’t forget to check yourself as well, and see a doctor if anything looks/feels different. Sending love to all going through treatment.
