Personally, I think reading spicy romance books is an act of rebellion against a society that is trying to take away our agency & demonise us for having healthy sexual appetites that don't center around procreation or male pleasure.
I never took hormones, never did laser surgery, never did voice training, didn’t change my legal name or even email, because above everybody else, I hope to inspire the lazy trans girls who are still in the closet, showing them that you can be as sloppy as me and still be a woman
Brittney Griner has been illegally detained in Russia since February 17th, 2022. I’m urging the @WhiteHouse to prioritize Brittney’s safe return home immediately! #WeAreBG

Takes like this make me want to actually scream and also make everyone gay for the rest of time. Everyone is only lesbians. Also today I was literally having a hard time thinking of a single straight friend I have… so. Am I just trying to be edgy???
It's hard to untangle all the ways this perspective exhausts me, but if MM is reading this, my counter question is-"Why did you need to be straight?"
Sexual orientation isn't a plot device. An undramatic, natural inclusion isn't 'shoehorned in'.
Let people exist.
@rmvirtues Okay so I have been wanting to give this a try bc I’ve heard it super queer but then I started Discovery and it was going very poorly for the Rent Gays and I got scared. Should I keep going/and or do strange new worlds or is it gonna hurt me?
unfollowing people who insist on erasing trans people from discussions of reproductive rights.
i’m tired of asking for our existence to be acknowledged.
we should be teaming up instead of y’all forgetting about a VERY large and INCREDIBLY vulnerable population in this fight.
Yes. We need to expand the conversation. How many eyes see a manuscript before it goes to print? Publishers need to start valuing the voices of their marginalized employees, start paying for sensitivity readers, and start investing in a diverse workforce.
