Mr. Wolfsheim writes a letter where he says he has to tend to more important business and refers to Gatsby’s murder as a “thing”. He won’t even make himself available for the death of what seemed like a close friend. He didn’t know his family either. He is fake. #Ch9 #TGGFake

The fact that Nick hears Gatsby’s voice in his head and is motivated/inspired by his words that he hears beyond the grave is a symbol for how much Gatsby meant to Nick. #TGGSymbol #Ch9
