@CaroleHackettOV Hi Carole, my friend Isobelle Mac Donald, formerly Evans, asked me to message and see if you remember her from Cheadle Hulme School. She says your dad is John. If it is you she would love to be in touch x
@lucyparge nice on Lucy on Tipping Point tonight. And donating your winning Women's Aid. Sara Pascoe gave hers to Refuge. Great to see celebrities fighting the good fight. Stamp out domestic abuse, happening too often.
@sarapascoe well done on Tipping Point. Raising money for Refuge...I applaud you my friend. Women escaping domestic abuse. Been there....done that. A worthy cause Sara, thankyou.
It hasn’t sunk in yet but…SOME NEWS.
I am so profoundly grateful & relieved.
Thank you to the judge, my stellar legal team & the 29,000 people who contributed to my legal defence fund. I literally couldn’t have done it without you 🙏🙏🙏

@EllieThompson61 I’m a survivor of a narcissist who was coercive and controlling. But the worst thing was the foreground/background manoeuvres to isolate me from OUR children, MY family and friends. 27 years and this humble numpty never really truly knew the ‘love’ of his life
@alicetaylortv Amazing "Tonight" programme tonight Alice. This issue needs as much publicity as possible. I was abused myself for many years back in the 80s and 90s. I was afraid for my sons and for my life. When I eventually escaped, I left the County.
@alexhorsfall74 Amazing programme tonight Alex. I lived in fear for many years. When I escaped I left the country. In the 80s and 90s, no-one wanted to listen. I was afraid for my life and my sons.
@richardm56 Hi Richard. Watching you this morning on GMB, always brilliant. Just wanted to know what I would have to do to get my book read in your book club. Trying to raise awareness of domestic abuse. My story is a true account of my 1st marriage. All... "19 Years"...of it.
@RebeccaLTaylor4 @JoBarley1 I don't know Rebecca, I think it does have a lot to do with their insecurities. Trust and respect are everything and there is no room for jealousy in a loving relationship. It will just act like a cancer growing all the time. I'm so happy, you're happy now. 😊 stay strong. X
@CCCBuryStEd Yes guys I'm with you all. Think it's hard to appreciate how bad coercive control is unless you have lived it. Unfortunately I have. Not pleasant. So happy to be free of him now, even though the journey was treacherous and soul destroying. Love to you all xxxxx
@JoBarley1 Hi Jo... so sorry to hear you had similar problems. I hope your life is happy now and they do say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Not a preferred way to find happiness but makes you appreciate life eh ? Glad you enjoyed the book. Soulmate xxx
Yet another woman and her child, murdered by a partner. Poor Bethany only days before she was due to be moved and hidden for her own safety, cruelly had hers and her poor babys life taken away. How many more?? We need to warn women of the red flags to look for.
@CommissionerDA It's just great to see all these comments. DV is an epidemic and we need to fight with all our strength and resources to help all victims. I know now I should have reached out for help but back in the 80s and 90s it wasn't even talked about. I was too scared to say a word.
@nicolejacobsST thank goodness for your position Nicole. I spent "19 Years" in an abusive, coercive marriage and it took me 25 years and leaving the country to find the strength to write my book. A completely true story. I really want to help others recognise red flags.
