@EvertonNewsFeed If he’s brought in for c£10m and is seen as a backup right back to someone else brought in this summer who is young with very high potential, then I could be on board.
@billyliar9 What a ridiculous take. We are more or less safe from relegation … which manager achieved that? Have you forgotten where we’ve come from? Moyes is doing a great job rebuilding, it will take time. The recent result have been disappointing but we’re missing several key players.
@BallysBoots Moyes has been clear that he sees these players as future prospects (aside from Alcaraz). I know we need(ed) players to come in and improve the first team but my expectations for Aznou, Dibling and Barry are very low for this season. Passing judgement so soon is nonsensical.
@jmarah_arnold1 This deal is all about the short term benefits. I don’t think Everton would be looking to invest in Jack Grealish beyond this season given his age, even if he does set the world alight - so I don’t expect there is any intention to exercise the option.
@HighfieldAshton@Everton What a load of rubbish. What trouble will it spell? The transfer policy is only just taking shape, with Smith not starting until Sept. I’d much prefer we take our time to spend money wisely on players that align with a longer term strategy, progress will undoubtbly be slow.
@adamjoseph@FPLfrasier@PremierInjuries Neutral here - do you genuinely think the lists are comparable? The current Man Utd list doesn’t feel too far from the average list for most teams right now, Tottenham’s is clearly worse.
@scottjwillis Scott - these are amazing. Three questions (from an Everton fan):
1) do you have the stats by player? I’m interested to see if any one player had a stand out share of the 9 interceptions.
2) can you explain the field tilt metric?
3) what is the final metric PPDA?
Thanks!
@jh_mufc @UtdGarnaxcho @EverydayMUFC22 Not dismissing the job RDZ has done but Brighton have been extremely well managed as a club for the past 5 years, and there is very little ‘baggage’ for any new manager to deal with and far less expectation from the fans, so zero pressure. The Utd job is completely different.
