@cpfcisaac I think Palace are priming themselves for Wharton to go before end of the window. If city acquire Enzo, they’ll be in for AW and bid big money. Palace are linked with Quinten Timber - a centre midfielder. A sure sign something might be happening.
@MikeLFC0505 But Klopp never wanted to sign Salah. Always remember that. For all the great stuff he didn’t want him originally. He wanted Julien Brandt. So Edwards and FSG deserve full credit for pressing ahead with the signing of Salah.
@chrisgodwin48@SHoomwitter No one can replace Salah. Diomande is good but not great. Madrid have overpaid. It makes sense to find younger talent and build them to be better over time. But surely you don’t want the club to overpay for talent? Name the player you think can properly replace Salah?
@LFCblogster It’s not - he refused to sign a new deal. He’s good but not great. Will shine in Italy in a slower paced league. Liverpool need to move on with the players Iraola wants.
@KevLfc19 You are incorrect. 😂. Google “Ian Graham data analyst” who worked on the deal. He confirms Klopp had to be talked into signing Salah and Klopp believed Brandt would be the better signing. Edwards and his team forced it through.
@freestateirl@dionfanning@MelissaReddy_ The fact he’s joined Trabzonspor says it all. Why have the biggest clubs in Europe not signed him on a free? Both can dress it up. His form dropped (regardless of changes in tactics) and the club needed to move on.
@AdewoluAre FSG don’t work on regrets. Salah was a great player but his game has diminished. The fact he’s now at Trabzonspor tells its own story. No big club in Italy, Spain or Germany were willing to go for it. Onwards and upwards for Liverpool. They’ll invest in younger talent.
