We found that msvc was writing memory in the first 16 bytes *before* its allocation begins, and this was a workaround for that. I'm assuming xbone also uses msvc, but maybe the compiler version is different

@damthauer @elliotmahler So there's 2 aspects of it - there's the STL header files, and the underlying compiler intrinsics. For the former, on some consoles we had to supply our own. for the latter, if your compile errors say the intrinsics are missing, I think you're out of luck. Maybe upgrade your sdk?
