@AnnFamMed@EmilyVangompel Obstetricians now perform cesarean sections on Black women at 5-6% points higher rates than White women on average, BUT in some hospitals the rates are the same! Again suggesting it is how the labor is supported makes a big difference.
@AnnFamMed@EmilyVangompel i am not in favor of the VBAC calculator in general as it essentially leads to exclusion of many people who would otherwise have a successful VBAC. the bottom line is it is all about how you together manage the labor that leads to higher rates of CS.
