@HNTurtledove The sub is discovered in present day by a woman West Point Cadet who was hunting for remnants of the Great Chain. We flash back to March 1945 and a plot to abduct FDR. The plot succeeds but when a patrol boat comes up river, the U-boat captain fires an acoustic torpedo.
