But, do a job once, do it well, if it takes longer, etc... It was loads of fun! Elliott was on it with the tape measure, the calculations, & the scale factor of 3.13! We def did maths! @24HourMaths ๐

@PompeyCyclist @100Climbs @sustrans @Islabikes @WelshCycling Well we've found common ground with the 1st of those three ๐๐ด๐ผโโ๏ธ. I frequently ride without a helmet too (my comment was ironic & making the point that there's no substitute for experience & good road awareness). I wear one with the kids as they kept asking why I didn't have one.

@recycle_urself Do what feels right for you. On a trip like yours there will be highs & lows, but this is true in everyday life too, just less rarefied. What you're doing is amazing. Take the journey for what it is, accept there will be bad days & know that good ones lie ahead. Rest up. Chapeau.
@FamilyByCycle My old home turf. And.. Not a chance! You'd have to shoulder even an MTB up several rock steps beneath Napes Needle. And push a road bike all the way. Go round ๐
