A student took her time to email me a thank you for having open discussions about tough topics in class and how she was grateful to be part of them. That's a #teacherwin if I've ever had one!
@PcpsLearning#pcpschat A5, I'm hoping for us to use the time in class to get to the true meat of discussion and save the โoffline timesโ for work I know they can do on their own. This will leave class time for real conversations and student insight.
@PcpsLearning#pcpschat A4, I tend to get the same students answering in class, and I don't hear new voices often. I think they're still nervous about being heard and seen through a screen.
@PcpsLearning#pcpschat A3, We did a lesson on writing style and used clothing style to help students get different outfits for different effects. They seemed to respond to it!
@PcpsLearning#pcpschat A2, Many of my discussions are student lead with them having the power to choose what they want to focus in and when they're ready to move to a new topic.
