It's my birthday today and the first birthday I've ever spent at placement. Got to know a patient extremely well today, with an incredible life story and for that reason, it's been a great birthday ☺️ forever grateful I have the opportunity to do this ☺️

In the space of 5 days, I've gone from being a healthy 23 year old, to not being able to walk up the stairs by myself because of my breathing, not doing anything properly by myself including picking my own cat up.

Please everyone, just be careful because it isn't worth this.
