@auraofthegarden It’s just how it came off to me, but I realize that maybe I’m just being too defensive of Tiny Desk.
Muting this now because I feel like some of the other replies are willfully misunderstanding what I meant just to be an ass. Some of yall get way too combative for no reason lol.
@auraofthegarden you’re absolutely right and I didn’t mean that Tiny Desk only specifically caters to small artists I don’t understand where people are getting that. The point is that taking a dig at Tiny Desk, a program where other small artists continue to benefit from, felt off-putting.
@baldiyeraldi@loccxz@auraofthegarden Yes, and I find it off-putting to undermine tiny desk, which continues to platform so many smaller artists, just because she got rejected. What exactly are we not getting here? 😭
@loccxz@auraofthegarden Of course, even the biggest ones. And I obvs can’t answer that. It just doesn’t change the fact that many other artists (*mostly* smaller ones) benefit from tiny desk, which is also still ran by an indepent non profit org. It’s just a bit off-putting to me.
@zjfrank13 Literally. Like if I were him and had other options I would never subject myself to what the stars of Heated Rivalry went through. It’s just wild.
@PioVGarcia People are lashing out at whoever they can when ADMU lang naman dapat ang tinitira (UAAP and others in position of authority in this context din). Ang sama naman talaga ng nangyari and nararapat magalit, pero hindi naman nakakatulong ‘yung ganiyan.
@Bestpupever1@ustxcmft I fail to see how they correlate? lol (I’m very much for the two)
I think this is just a question of news consumption. Those who don’t really read the news a lot tend to evaluate framing and tone more than the message itself. This is just a normal descriptive head.
