@stephenanderson It depends, but in many cases less. While the software necessary is expensive, it's far cheaper than reserving a venue and flying into and housing people in an international hub.
@bmenrigh I've been handling isolation unsurprisingly well, given my penchant to hermit. Are they not doing a virtual event instead? I've on several conference planning committees and we're going all virtual. Some fine products on the market.
Interesting. Indeed my own analysis fails to produce a complete contig - but instead results in a long 29.5kb scaffold with multiple gaps where there are simply no reads to fill the void. Some gaps are over 150bp so it’s not a trimming / QC artifact. Also..
