Autistic and ADHD me: I know that I achieved something and others celebrate such wins, but it’s no big deal for me because everybody does it/it was easy. Plus, there’s still more I need to do on this, so it’s too early to celebrate.

@VasperSunday That’s not to suggest they won’t have any. No parent is perfect. Plus there are some unavoidable traumas in life (injury, grief, even heartbreak(platonic or romantic)).
