@CBCManitoba Wasn’t her dog 10 weeks old? That’s what I saw in the posts. Also we’re the thieves indeed arrested? I read elsewhere that they are still around (and someone claimed they tried to steal another dog).
@WinnipegNews I’d like to know which Co-op service station this was at, have been using them for many years but prefer not to take my business to a place with such intolerance.
@CBCManitoba Gas line is apparently severed on Dominion between Sargent and Ellice so residents have had to evacuate for a few hours. I live on the block, notified by fire dept. door-to-door.
@fauxpilgrim @kellypkVM @bkives According to an article in the Globe and Mail, a UK study shows that one shot may have weak effectiveness against the variants.
@WinnipegNews I can’t believe we are this far down the road and officials are still spouting this idiocy. They know what people do and don’t do so if they want something followed, then implement the restrictions properly instead of admonishing. Maybe the govt should extend a bit beyond too.
@WinnipegNews The Free Press article online today says retail stores are to enforce 25% capacity from 50% under new restrictions as of Weds. I thought it was 1/3 capacity or 333, whichever is less, also cited in the print edition.
@ctvwinnipeg Roussin repeatedly tells Manitobans to observe the fundamentals so we don’t end up with skyrocketing cases again, today warning we should have learned from last fall... But with variants now, puzzling the govt itself seems to not have learned to not open up things too quickly.
@WinnipegNews What is the MB govt thinking, expecting age 95+ seniors to get to a vaccination super site at the Convention Centre in downtown Wpg? Would it not be more fair to do home visits? I am not taking my 90 yr old mom with a walker, will wait for her doctor who plans to give shots.
@sallywilts I am a senior and get the same thing where recently security motioned for me to remove my mask. So I’m not sure if I just need to prove who I am to@match my license like showing your passport at the airport or whether it is to prove legal age. Excellent point you make though.
Not impressed that today Manitoba reported 538 Covid cases related to holiday gatherings and 2900 contacts. WTF. I live alone and I’ve been hardly seeing people, following restrictions, and then hear this as a reason for extension of code red restrictions. Slightly pissed off.
