On 5 October, on the occasion of World Habitat Day, World Architecture Day and World Teachers’ Day, a photo exhibition entitled “The Architectural Heritage of Azerbaijan and Bulgaria Through the Eyes of Students” was opened at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. The exhibition was jointly organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Bulgaria and the Centre for Azerbaijani Language and Culture of Baku Slavic University operating at Sofia University.

On the fifth day of #UNGA81 Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev attended and delivered speech/remarks in a number of high-level events and held bilateral meetings:

☑️ At the High-Level Meeting of the @UNAOC Group of Friends, he highlighted Azerbaijan’s pioneering role in the #BakuProcess and the World Forum on #Intercultural #Dialogue and announced that Azerbaijan expresses its intention to host the UNAOC Global Forum in 2027.

☑️ At the Joint Arab-Islamic Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem, he reiterated Azerbaijan’s firm support to a two-state solution, with #Al-Quds Al-Sharif as the capital of the State of #Palestine, in accordance with #international law and relevant @UN resolutions.

☑️ He held bilateral meetings with H.E. Fatumata Jau, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guinea Bissau and H.E. Lasha Darsalia, Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia for an exchange of views on cooperation within international organizations.

Speaking at the second day of Baku Investment Forum, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev highlighted the country’s economic and financial stability, pointing to the manat’s stable exchange rate and Azerbaijan’s low level of public debt.

Concluding a productive #UNGA81 High-Level Week in New York, Minister of Foreign Affairs of #Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov held comprehensive meetings, discussions, and signed documents on behalf of Azerbaijan.

The intensive diplomatic agenda provided an important opportunity to advance Azerbaijan’s foreign policy priorities, strengthen bilateral partnerships.

The discussions reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s active contribution to the multilateral agenda.

Azerbaijan will continue to actively engage with international partners in promoting peace, stability, connectivity and mutually beneficial cooperation.

✅ 17 bilateral documents;

Tədbirin əvvəlində Azərbaycanın ərazi bütövlüyü və suverenliyi uğrunda canlarından keçmiş şəhidlərimizin əziz və unudulmaz xatirəsi bir dəqiqəlik sükutla yad edilib.

Tədbirdə çıxış edən Azərbaycan Respublikasının Bolqarıstan Respublikasındakı Səfiri Elmar Məmmədov 27 Sentyabr – Anım Gününün Azərbaycan xalqının tarixində xüsusi əhəmiyyət daşıdığını qeyd edib. Səfir Vətən müharibəsi zamanı Müzəffər Ali Baş Komandan cənab İlham Əliyevin rəhbərliyi ilə Azərbaycan Ordusunun nümayiş etdirdiyi misilsiz qəhrəmanlıq, şücaət və peşəkarlıq barədə danışıb.

Bildirilib ki, Vətən müharibəsində qazanılmış tarixi Zəfər nəticəsində Azərbaycanın ərazi bütövlüyünün, 2023-cü ildə keçirilmiş lokal xarakterli antiterror tədbirləri nəticəsində isə ölkəmizin suverenliyinin tam bərpası təmin edilib. Bununla da BMT Təhlükəsizlik Şurasının müvafiq qətnamələrinin icrası təmin olunub, beynəlxalq hüququn norma və prinsiplərinə əsaslanan ədalətin bərpası istiqamətində mühüm tarixi nəticə əldə edilib.

Çıxış zamanı işğaldan azad edilmiş ərazilərə məcburi köçkünlərin qayıdışının təmin edilməsi istiqamətində həyata keçirilən tədbirlərdən, Qarabağ və Şərqi Zəngəzur iqtisadi rayonlarında minaların təmizlənməsi, habelə genişmiqyaslı bərpa, yenidənqurma və quruculuq işlərindən bəhs edilib. Qeyd olunub ki, hazırda həmin ərazilərdə müasir infrastrukturun yaradılması, şəhər və kəndlərin yenidən qurulması, təhlükəsiz və dayanıqlı yaşayış şəraitinin təmin edilməsi istiqamətində mühüm layihələr həyata keçirilir.

Daha sonra Bolqarıstanda yaşayan Azərbaycan icmasının üzvü Sabir Quliyev çıxış edərək Anım Gününün xalqımız üçün mənəvi və tarixi əhəmiyyətindən, Vətən müharibəsində Azərbaycan Ordusunun göstərdiyi qəhrəmanlıqdan və şəhidlərimizin əziz xatirəsinin daim ehtiramla yad edilməsinin vacibliyindən danışıb.

Tədbirin davamında Azərbaycan Ordusunun Vətən müharibəsində göstərdiyi qəhrəmanlıq və şücaətdən bəhs edən, Bakı Media Mərkəzi tərəfindən hazırlanmış “BİZ” sənədli filmi nümayiş etdirilib.

Tədbirdə Bolqarıstanda yaşayan Azərbaycan icmasının nümayəndələri, eləcə də bu ölkədə təhsil alan azərbaycanlı tələbələr iştirak ediblər.

Tədbirin sonunda Azərbaycanın ərazi bütövlüyü və suverenliyi uğrunda canlarından keçmiş şəhidlərimizin əziz xatirəsinə ehtiram əlaməti olaraq ehsan süfrəsi təşkil olunub.

On the margins of #UNGA81, Minister of Foreign Affairs of #Azerbaijan @Bayramov_Jeyhun met with the Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres @antonioguterres.

The sides exchanged views on regional and international developments, including Azerbaijan’s engagement in the UN framework and its role in promoting dialogue, stability, and cooperation.

Azerbaijan’s active participation within the UN and its specialized agencies, its active contribution to multilateralism, international law, and the principles of the UN Charter was emphasised.

The discussions also addressed Azerbaijan’s contribution as a donor country and its humanitarian initiatives.

The discussion highlighted global climate action and sustainable development, noting Azerbaijan’s successful hosting of COP29, alongside expanding role in renewable energy, transport, and regional connectivity.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov briefed on recent progress in the Azerbaijan–Armenia normalization process, confidence-building efforts in the South Caucasus, large-scale reconstruction in liberated territories supporting the return of former IDPs, and demining efforts.

Pleased to chair and address the Informal Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States @Turkic_States on the margins of #UNGA81 in New York.

Highlighted the strategic importance of stronger coordination among Turkic States amid profound changes in international relations, conflicts and growing global challenges.

We focused on actionable measures to deepen our economic and strategic partnership, prioritising transport-communication corridors, energy integration, and digital trade connectivity across the Turkic world.

We emphasized expanding practical, sector-specific cooperation across trade, energy, ICT, science, technology, and culture to build direct opportunities for our business communities and peoples.

Highlighted key events and initiatives held during Azerbaijan’s OTS Chairmanship, including the centenary events of the First Turkological Congress and sectoral meetings on security, religious affairs and analytical cooperation.

I wished full success to brotherly Türkiye for hosting COP31 in Antalya and OTS Summit in Ankara, and thanked all member states for their fruitful collaboration.
