Add to that Vegas getting docked their R2 pick for the 2026 draft, they’re low on resources. With 3 1s this draft and a good prospect pool, the Blues could comfortably use one of those 1s to LV for PD’s rights. Then use a chunk of their proj 15.73 mil cap space to lock him up.

Then he inked a 4x5.8 extension. I think a guy to keep an eye on is Pavel Dorofeyev in Vegas. 37 G, 64 P in a full 82 G this season. He’s a sniper, and will likely cost more than Vegas can pay with their current cap situation (proj 4.63 mil).

@CoachMinich The more I look at the draft, our FA moves, and the FO’s tendencies, if both Styles and Downs are gone I think they’ll pick whoever is their CB1. The holes left are CB2 and LB. LB top 10 won’t happen if it’s not Styles, but upgrading over Jalen Davis and Fig feels very likely.
