@RealSPXSniper strong trend day like today, I managed to wipe out almost all of my overnight call profits by taking put positions several times. Looking back at my trading records, I actually suffer bigger losses on clean trend days. It's always the same pattern.

Implied range: ~7697 - 7761

If SPX Goes up:
Call trigger: 7742
I need 5-min acceptance above 7742..
Stop: 5-min close below 7734
Then follow the chart.

If SPX Goes Down:
Put trigger: 7725
I need 5-min acceptance below 7725
Stop: 5-min close back above 7733
Then follow the chart.

Sideways:
With SPX ~7729, 18.3% IV, a $32 0DTE straddle, and the dialers positioning, I prefer keeping the shorts comfortably outside the implied move.
Premarket had decent premium.
