More than 500 U.S. citizens have been detained by ICE, according to ProPublica.
70% of ICE detainees have no criminal conviction.
Trump’s promise to go after the “worst of the worst” was always a lie. It was always a pretext to terrorize Black and brown communities.
Remember this. https://t.co/y444YJOB7t
Surprised he left out San Francisco. LA and San Diego have more ICE agents operating in them than SF and that's been the case for awhile. Small price to pay to take out immigrants, legal and otherwise I guess.
BREAKING: Trump suggested that allowing Iran to “take out” a major U.S. city could be a “small price to pay” during remarks at a rally in Nebraska.
“They can take out a city. Let ’em take out Los Angeles. Let ’em take out San Diego. This is a very small price to pay,” Trump said.
Trump made the comments while discussing the economic costs of the Iran war, though the remarks appeared to suggest that an Iranian attack on a U.S. city could be an acceptable cost.
@Proj2025Enjoyer@HormuzReport They won't submit without a full on ground invasion that would likely kill a few hundred thousand American soldiers. They would still get absolutely dominated, losing probably millions, but do you want an estimated 100k-200k American service members dead over this?
On February 27, the day before the war began, US oil was at $66, US diesel at $3.76 a gallon, the diesel crack spread near $42, and markets were pricing three Fed rate cuts for 2026.
Today US oil is above $102, US diesel at a record $6.31, the crack at an all-time high of $111, and the Fed has raised rates for the first time since 2023 on a unanimous vote, with one more hike in the dots and the ECB two hikes in. Saudi crude to Europe is cancelled through October, the East-West pipeline is shut, and Hormuz is closed.
The cutting cycle markets priced in February has now turned into a hiking cycle, and rate cuts are off the table with oil above $100 and 3.4% inflation.
Watters: That $5,000 check. That's not a bribe. We're calling it an enticement. We don't know if the check will ever get there. What happens if the Republicans take the house and they balk and don't write the checks? It's not Trump's fault. He just blames congress. It's like a woman. Sometimes a woman can entice you, okay? It doesn't mean you're going home with her but it keeps you interested. It keeps you intrigued and wanting more. That's what this is about.
"The idea that the U.S. could not prevent and defend against a predictable attack on a Fleet Headquarters — and our sailors stationed there — is quite startling. It likely is just as alarming to our allies.
While there is certainly a need for operational security, it is important for the American people to understand how this situation happened, the magnitude of the impact and how repeating it can be avoided."

BREAKING: Iran is launching ballistic missiles from all over the country, in a large-scale wave. So far, Tehran, Karaj, East Azerbaijan, Urmia, West Azerbaijan, Zanjan, Shiraz, Lorestan and Khorramabad.
Multiple explosions at the Muwaffaq Salti US base in Jordan minutes ago, the first target.
At least 37 now confirmed killed as the secondary explosions here were massive. Zelensky and Prime Minister Koretskyi have ordered investigations to determine responsibility for illegally storing ammunition near residential buildings.
BREAKING: The US military is now experiencing a "beyond critical" shortage of advanced Patriot missile interceptors in Europe due to Trump's war with Iran, meaning the US military does not have enough Patriots to stop any potential sustained Russian ballistic missile attack, per US/NATO officials to AP.
In the event of a direct hot war with Russia, including strikes on a military base or power plant, NATO would now have very limited capability to defend Europe and be forced "to take punch after punch in the mouth."
This comes on the same day Russia directly warned it could start bombing UK military bases due to UK support for Ukraine, with Zakharova saying British military sites "in Ukraine and beyond its borders" could be targeted.
"The world has spent decades worrying about what Iran might do if it acquired a nuclear weapon. It should now worry about something even more consequential: an Iran that has defeated the United States, no longer fears American attack, and controls access to the Persian Gulf.
Nuclear weapons alone could never have given Iran this kind of power.
The failed U.S. and Israeli war with Iran has."

@johnrockshomes You should be publicly executed for insurrection you traitor to this country. I'm glad your marriage and business was destroyed at least. FAFO, bitch.
BREAKING: Iran gives the US an ultimatum of "3-4 weeks" to meet all of its demands or it will "severely escalate in the Strait of Hormuz" and launch its planned preemptive strike on US-backed Gulf infrastructure, and US & Israeli assets, a senior Iranian source in Tehran familiar with the matter says.
Iran's demands include:
1. $300 billion in reconstruction funds
2. Full release of Iran's frozen assets of up to $120 billion
3. Lifting of the U.S. naval blockade
4. End to the war across all fronts, including Gaza and Lebanon
5. Accepting Iran's permanent control of the Strait of Hormuz, including up to 7% of transit fees
6. The lifting of all US sanctions on Iranian oil, petrochemical products, and gas
