DRAW WHAT YOU SEE?
A few friends took the time to draw what they saw of themselves in the reflection of the mirror. This gave them a chance to look closely at all the beautiful features of their face and notice the positive differences between other friends\or siblings.
Our young School Age children have been start showing their interest in hand sewing. It was the project of making hair bows.
Sewing is a great way to encourage the development of fine motor skills in kids. It gives them hours of fun and nurtures their creativity and independence
Children were doing an experiment on "Making Rain".
By making learning fun and engaging, children can develop a lifelong passion for exploring the world around them.
Children’s critical-thinking skills and fine-motor skills have developed to the point where they can start using simple tools. Magnifying glasses help kids see things they’ve never seen before, like small insects and their homes or rocks and shells. It opens up a whole new world.

How do you get a tissue to dance? You put a little boogey in it!
Our school age group had a great time creating joke books to give out on our community walk. We had an even better time seeing the smiles on our neighbours' faces as we handed them out around the community!
Every year Elmridge SAP puts together thank you cards and artwork to drop off at the local Royal Canadian Legion for Remembrance Day. This year we did cupcakes! It was a great opportunity to show our appreciation and started some meaningful conversations with the children.
This week's Breathing Exercise of the week is "Penguin Breathing" from Master Instructor Vicky Hepler. Breathe in as you stretch your arms up, and then breathe out as you penguin waddle to relax! 🐧 #iHeartCD
✨🧡 In November, we proudly celebrate Indigenous Education Month, a dedicated period during which we actively embrace the path of Truth and Reconciliation. Together, we honour and celebrate the diverse traditions that continue to shape our shared future. @ocsbIndigenous
The Safe Place uses times of upset as teaching moments so children can acquire new active calming skills. Just like any other center, the Safe Place must be taught by adults through modeling, teaching moments, literature, songs, and role-playing.

This week's Conscious Commitment is all about what we at Conscious Discipline call the "Q.T.I.P. Method," which stands for "Quit Taking It Personal." A reframe that can apply to both children and adults.
Are you willing to commit this week? If so, retweet "ImWillingRU."
