Charles Brooking's map of Dublin (1728) was one of the first detailed attempts at mapping the city of Dublin. The map included modern Dublin Georgian streetscape and includes 20 notable Dublin buildings and structures which are embedded as vignettes within the borders of the map.
The Chain Book of Dublin (14th - 17th century) contains lists of the laws and ordinances of the city of Dublin, legal proceedings and acts, lists of prisoners in Newgate.
The book is on vellum and translated in the Calendar of Ancient Records of Dublin.
