Since November we have been trying to meet our MSPs over Elmwood. We had a productive face to face with Alex Rowley & the Tory list MSPs suggested a teams meeting but have yet to fix a date. @willie_rennie our constituency MSP continues to swerve a meeting. Very disappointing.

Letter in @thecourieruk today commenting on @sruc CEO's appearance at last week's Education Committee. Rude and out of touch, yet he couldn't stop himself going on about community collaboration at every turn. The hollowest of words.

The week previously at the Education Committee @sruc CEO made much of maintaining their FE provision at 43%, but he failed to say most of this consists of online courses and apprenticeships. Not college education as we have known it.

SRUC has received just a fraction of the capital funding which some other colleges did last year. This has posed a serious challenge to its ability to maintain its estate. I raised the issue with the further education minister.
