@Lawman027 I doubt they care, though it does feel a bit unfair for Iga, Elena n Mirra.
6‑time GS champ + former USO winner has b2b matches on Grandstand.
This year’s AO champ + World No.2 (on track for No.1 after USO) on Grandstand again.
The RG champ & top‑5 seed plays b2b on Court 17.
@justfortennis Armstrong pass gets you into all courts except Ashe. So even if Ticketmaster shows soldout, that doesnt mean the stadium will be packed. Fans who aren’t Filipino would rather watch Keys and Iga instead.
@justfortennis tickets sell before the player match‑ups are set. my friends’ family got Armstrong tickets early, yet they only caught Iga & Keys on Grandstand and Court 17.
@xiuperbaozi I think she’s trimming her schedule this year. She’ll call the shots after Beijing and Wuhan. She’s skipping 500s unless she’s right on the cusp of WTA Finals qualification.
@followdaisy Ok tbh, I think it mostly comes down to Iga’s solid athleticism and the fact she’s still very young. Rybakina has played way more matches than her this season.
