I’ve always liked a good drive. It clears my head.

A lot of ideas come to me there. Usually it’s a product or growth question I’ve been chewing on. Sometimes it’s something someone said earlier that I can finally make sense of.

Once LLMs got good enough, I started recording myself while I drove and throwing the audio into them later. When Grok showed up in Tesla, I started talking to it pretty often too.

Grok Bot made the next step feel pretty natural.

I’ve been using it, and I barely had to change what I was already doing. I’m talking things through in the car anyway. If one of those thoughts needs real work, I can hand it off right there and the bot keeps going.

A useful thought used to come home with me. I’d try to remember it or leave myself a recording. Plenty never made it back into my day.

Now I can hand it off while it’s fresh and stay with whatever I was thinking about.

I grew up watching Knight Rider. It was one of my favorite shows as a kid. KITT drove itself and Michael could just talk to it. It could actually do things for him.

With FSD handling more of the driving and Grok already in the car, adding Grok Bot makes that old KITT idea feel weirdly real.

None of this changes why I like driving.

A good drive still clears my head.

I just don’t have to carry every useful thought home anymore.
