All western templates like the income tax act are designed for abrahamic economics reducing the society into a selfish individual.

Begin with rectifying this mistake -

Single individual getting income exempt up to 12 lakhs. If both husband and wife have income, they are taking 24 lakh as couple benefit and still not ensuring birth rates.

Single individual with a housewife who doesn't earn, the couple together getting only 12 lakh benefit.

So as a couple they are paying more tax than the family in which both have income.

Like why do we want to punish a couple where the housewife is ensuring birth rates and looking after children (not having income) ??

Solution - Fill in your spouse's PAN, if her income is less than 10 lakhs, husband should get 2 lakh extra deduction.
