Tigray is still starving and under siege by Abiy Ahmed — and the world looks away. Yet the US chooses to impose visa restrictions on TPLF members and their families. That’s the priority? This isn’t justice. #WhereIsHumanity#UNSC#UNGA@dfatirl@IrishUnity
@addisstandard@SecBlinken Ethnic cleansing is a grave violation of international law.

More evidence of Ethiopia’s 🇪🇹 growing involvement in the Sudan war.
New findings by @HRL_YaleSPH provide additional evidence that technical vehicles spotted at an ENDF base in Asosa 🇪🇹 were later repainted in plain green and transferred to the RSF in Sudan's Blue Nile 🇸🇩.
My heart goes out to the Ethiopian refugees who were executed. They never deserved such a cruel death. Saudi Arabia’s punishments are brutally inhumane. May they rest in peace, and my deepest sympathy to their families

Obasanjo’s visit to Tigray raises real concerns. With his past record, it’s hard to see him as someone centered on humanity or justice. Tigray needs genuine commitment and voices that truly stand with survivors seeking real peace.
Obasanjo Arrives In Mekelle for Pretoria Agreement Talks
AU Horn representative Olusegun Obasanjo has arrived in #Tigray alongside int’l envoys for talks with President Debretsion Gebremichael on preventing a return to war and reviewing implementation of the Pretoria Agreement.
Obasanjo’s visit to Tigray means nothing to a people who have suffered so much. His track record doesn’t reflect humanity or justice — and any role he plays now only serves Abiy Ahmed’s agenda, not the victims. Tigray deserves genuine voices.

News: #Oromo Federalist Congress rejects #Ethiopia’s election as ‘Sham,’ warns of deepening legitimacy crisis
The Oromo Federalist Congress (#OFC) has rejected Ethiopia’s 7th National Election held on 1 June, describing it as a “sham election” that “will not bring lasting peace, stability, or democratic governance” to the country.
In a strongly worded post-election statement, OFC, one of the country’s oldest opposition blocs, said the process fell short of basic standards of credibility, participation, and fairness, arguing that it was conducted under conditions that undermined its legitimacy.
“The recent 7th National Election… will not bring lasting peace, stability, or democratic governance to the peoples of Ethiopia,” the statement said.

So shameful and unnecessary. Yet another way our domestic politics and feeding a political base undermines our foreign relations--not just with Somalia, but with all of Africa.
Omar Artan is back in Mogadishu.
The Somali referee was set to become the first man from his country to play an on-pitch role at the World Cup.
Artan was barred from entering the US despite holding a diplomatic passport and a single-entry US visa.

As evidence of the UAE’s military support to Sudan’s abusive Rapid Support Forces mounts, the NBA will prominently don Emirates logos during the 2026 NBA finals.
The NBA should use this high-profile opportunity to speak out about the country’s human rights record.

Tigray is still suffering. Families displaced, children hungry, people unable to access food, medicine, or even their own money.
This is a humanitarian crisis — not a political debate.
