Calke is a mansion and estate on the site of a 12th century Augustinian abbey #Derbyshire. It was acquired by the @nationaltrust in a state of decay and the house has been much preserved from the late Victorian period - a curious and fascinating time capsule.

Clevedon is a historic town on the #Somerset side of the Bristol Channel that developed as a resort in the Victorian period. Its crowning glory is its 1017 feet long (310 metres) pier, which was completed in 1869. I should list more piers on ABAB.
