Much self destructive behavior is from craving connection & not knowing how to find it. It’s from pain left inside a person from a person they loved deeply. That body hasn’t found a way to deal with that pain & often times destruction is the only way they’ve found to silence it.

Wow, just bumped into a guy who was a service user when I worked in inpatient secure services. It was great to hear all about his time since being discharged. The transformation and quality of his life was unbelievable! Community life after discharge at its best👌 @SPFT_NHS
