Complete lawlessness prevails in the country at the moment.

The 20-year-old son of former PTI MPA, Muhammad Tariq Tarar from Mandi Bahauddin, who was studying in Lahore and was not even involved anywhere during the May 9 protests, was illegally arrested while he was sick. Under custody, he was severely tortured which deteriorated his condition, due to which he was admitted to a private hospital for 4 days. He was subsequently moved back to jail where his condition is still precarious.

Similarly, police force stormed the house of district president PTI and member of the National Assembly, Haji Imtiaz Ahmad Chaudhry.
The police broke the main door of the house, ransacked it, harassed the women, beat up innocent servants and abducted them. Whatever valuables they saw they took away.

Question that needs to be asked is, how come there is no investigation so far on 16 unarmed protesters confirmed shot dead by our security forces (while no police was injured by any bullets). Three of the unarmed protesters, because of bullet wounds, had to have their legs amputated while 9 others who are suspected to have died, we have no news as their relatives are either underground or too scared of the police to speak out.

In any society where there is rule of law, by now there would have been a thorough probe and govt would have been held accountable.

There has been no independent investigation even on the arson that took place on the 9th of may as the govt is busy using that as a pretext to dismantle Pakistan's biggest political party.

وہ سوال جسے (موجودہ حالات میں) اٹھانے کی اشد ضرورت ہے وہ یہ کہ ہمارے سیکیورٹی اہلکاروں کی جانب سے اب تک 16 نہتّے (پاکستانی) مظاہرین کے قتل، جن کی تصدیق ہوچکی ہے، کی کوئی تحقیقات کیوں نہیں کی گئیں جبکہ کوئی بھی پولیس اہلکار (اس دوران) گولی لگنے سے زخمی نہیں ہوا۔ گولیوں کے زخموں کی وجہ سے 3 نہتّے مظاہرین کو اپنی ٹانگیں کٹوانا پڑیں جبکہ دیگر 9 کے حوالے سے شبہہ ہے کہ وہ شہید ہوچکے ہیں مگر ہمارے پاس ان کے حوالے سے (مصدقہ) اطلاعات نہیں کیونکہ ان کے اہلِ خانہ/رشتہ دار یا تو زیرِ زمین ہیں یا پولیس سے اس قدر خوفزدہ ہیں کہ لب کشائی پر آمادہ نہیں۔

(یہ قتل و غارت گری) ایک ایسے معاشرے میں ہوتی جہاں قانون کی حکمرانی قائم ہےتو اب تک (ان واقعات کی) ہر پہلو سےتحقیقات مکمل ہوچکی ہوتیں اور حکومت کا محاسبہ کیا جا چکا ہوتا۔

۹ مئی کو ہونے والے جلاؤ گھیراؤ کے واقعات تک کی آزادانہ تحقیقات نہیں کی گئیں کیونکہ حکومت انہی واقعات کی آڑ میں پاکستان کی سب سے بڑی سیاسی جماعت کو کچلنے میں مصروف ہے۔
