Your coding agents don't share a brain. OpenLore fixes that with one folder of Markdown!
(open source, Apache 2.0, 1.5K+ stars on GitHub)
Right now Claude Code reads CLAUDE. md. Codex reads AGENTS. md. Cursor reads its own rules. None of them remember yesterday.
OpenLore by @Oiya_ai flips it: every agent on your team reads the same files.
The setup is one hub:
โ openlore ./docs serves your folder over MCP and SSH
โ Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode all plug into it
โ each agent only sees the docs it's been granted
โ they read with cat, grep and find, tools they already know
Update a file once and every agent sees the new version on its next read.
There's no vector database, no ingestion pipeline and no SDK.
I checked the safety part too. The shell is an in-memory Go interpreter, not a real OS shell, and access is read-only by default.
Honest tradeoff: for one agent in one repo, plain Markdown in your repo is enough. OpenLore pays off once several agents or teammates share the same knowledge.
