CO-OWNER OF LADGAC REHABILITATION CENTRE ARRESTED
Tsebe Phillimon Moloto (52) was arrested by Limpopo Police Tracking Team after allegedly torching a house belonging to his business partner Patricia Rachidi Mmadira (37. Mr Moloto was arrested on two cases of malicious damage to property committed in the Seshego and Westernburg policing precincts.
Mr Moloto was arrested on Monday morning, 13 July 2026, at his residence in the Welgelegen suburb of Polokwane after police executed a warrant of arrest.
The arrest follows two incidents reported on Saturday, 28 June 2026.
According to the investigation, at about 04:30, an unknown suspect allegedly set alight a signboard of “Rehabilitation Centre” in Ladanna, next to the Dendron Road. The suspect then allegedly proceeded to Seshego Zone 3, where a Toyota Hilux Extended Cab was set alight.
The fire extensively damaged the vehicle and spread to a portion of the house, where seven occupants were asleep at the time. Neighbours acted swiftly and managed to extinguish the flames before further damage or injuries could occur. The estimated value of the damage is approximately R800 000.
Following the registration of the cases, the investigations were transferred to the Provincial Office for investigation. Through intensive investigations and intelligence gathering, police positively linked the 51-year-old suspect to both incidents and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
During the operation, police also seized a Toyota Fortuner that is believed to have been used in the commission of the offences.

Public Service announcement 📣:
Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences (AARTO) demerit points are coming, so don’t say we didn’t warn you..
Here is what to know about the AARTO demerit system:
You start on 0 points. Every traffic offence adds points to your licence. Once you go above 15 points, your licence gets suspended for 3 months for every point above 15.
17 points = 6-month suspension.
If your licence is suspended twice and you exceed 15 points again, it can be cancelled completely. You may have to start again with a learner’s licence.
Also, paying the fine does not remove the points. Drive safely and stop ignoring traffic notices.
It will be rolled out soon…
