Our 🌎 has already warmed by about 1.2°C.
On today's #WorldMetDay, let's remember that every bit of additional global warming worsens climate impacts.
The actions we take this decade will influence life on Earth for thousands of years.
Join millions around the globe in a powerful message of #ClimateAction!
It's time to switch off the lights for one hour tonight, 8:30pm-9:30pm local time.
Let's show our commitment to the 🌎 and our future generations by taking a step towards a sustainable world.

☀️Today:
3,000 gigawatt renewable energy
☀️2030:
10,000 gigawatt renewable energy
We are in the decisive decade for #ClimateAction.
According to a new @IRENA report, reaching our 2030 #ClimateChange targets requires us to add an average of 1,000 GW renewable energy each year.
@EM203zrahim #EM203Robin An important issue to address when considering mental health, is how we identify "healthy" from "unhealthy" coping techniques. In the digital age where individuals have access to copious amounts of information, how do we identify the good from the bad?
@EM203MaxR Hi Max. I to have never used twitter before taking this course, and I definitely can see how accessible this platform is to a variety of topics. I am looking forward to using this platform more throughout the term! By the way, always next year for them #Cowboys eh?
@jennatrantauWL Hi Jenna. I never thought I was ever going to use twitter, but here I am. I may have been wrong about twitter as the course has showed me how vast this platform goes to providing information about a variety of topics. I look forward to using twitter more throughout the course.
@EM203MForster Hi Maxwell. This course is probably the most unique course I have taken throughout my entire undergrad, and I am glad I enrolled in it this semester. The first few lessons have expanded my knowledge about the Digital Age and how it as evolved. Looking forward to more ideas.
@EM203ellenzhou Hi Ellen, I too have found value in the learning of a variety of learning styles from the first three weeks in EM203. Just the action of creating my first twitter account has furthered my understanding of how vast these media platforms are in terms of accessible information.
@kimngantu Hi Kim, I never thought I would be even making a twitter account in the first place, but from creating it and learning more about the digital age is making me more interested in what is in store further down the line in this course as well.
Through the first 3 weeks of EM203, I have gained a foundational understanding of twitter itself as well as expanded my knowledge of the Digital Age and its consumers. I look forward to learning more about this content in the upcoming weeks. #EM203Robin
