@SewellStrong ... Do you have any input on why you feel that mental health education should be an essential topic in school curriculums for young learners?
@SewellStrong Hey guys, I love the initiatives of your foundation! I'm a student at Laurier University and was asked to identify a problem regarding learning. I chose the need for mental health education in primary school curriculums...
When talking about mental health it is important to understand the complexity of eating disorders. These disorders are serious and need to be treated as such, rather than sensationalized. #EM203Robin#EM203Research
@EM203GSun Hi Zhe, a problem that I can identify in your concept map surrounds the consequences aspect of the endangerment of wildlife. Specifically, the “limited food resources as a result of habitat damage”. #em203problems
@EM203NLukezic Hi Nikola, a problem I can identify within your mind map pertains to the deforestation aspect of environmental issues. Specifically, “the domino effect of extinction resulting from damage to ecosystems”. #em203problems
@EM203ryanmuck Hi Ryan, a problem I can define in your mind map relates to the healthcare aspect of health. Specifically, “access to family doctors or general practitioners in Ontario”. #em203problems
@Em203Brownstein I completely agree. This class has been vastly different from what I was expecting. Like you said, the interactive elements have really enhanced my learning
I've loved how interactive and diverse this course has been with its material. In particular, this week it gave me the opportunity to get back into one of my greatest passions - dance. I was also able to learn a new form of dance that I've always been interested in! #EM202Robin
@evard4340 Emma! I didn’t even realize it was you until right now! I would definitely agree with you, the level of efficiency with collaborative work heavily depends on the specific activity for me as well.
@evard4340 I miss hula hooping! Reminds me of childhood and its great exercise. Speaking of collaborative learning, in your experience do you find you work better by yourself, in groups, or a mixture of both?
@em203Mariam Technology and digitalization are definitely growing so fast! Personally, this makes me a little nervous, in terms of keeping up with all the advancements in technology. Do you also get nervous thinking about it or do you find it excites you more?
@em203mattk Couldn't agree more! I also really like the 3 A's, especially because I find that I benefit significantly from being able to learn material at my own pace and on my own time.
@Mans0380 My grandmother has been obsessed with sudoku for as long as I can remember! She also loves sitting back and relaxing with a book full of puzzles. She tried to teach me but I hate numbers lol. I'd much rather dance - maybe that has to do with having different learning styles.
