Are you talking about his hair? If so, his defense team, I’m assuming it was, already did that before the trial for presentation purposes. This is far less of a haircut than that was and honestly, depending on prison policies, maybe mandatory to prevent the spread of lice and stuff. Like if shows we’ve all watched are accurate, it is quite an invasive process being “processed” into prison, including anal cavity checks and being sprayed off and basically disinfected. It’s the same process for EVERY new inmate. There is good health and hygienic and safety reasons of course for it. It’s not meant to be like going to a spa or resort. It’s not meant to feel dignified. It’s prison.

I never thought about that before, but it makes complete sense. In prison, almost all the rules and laws and just what is acceptable per “the social contract” under which we’ve established as a society to live, doesn’t exist. And as Hobbes said without a social contract, human life would be solitary, poor, nasty, brutal and short. If that isn’t true of prison life but sadly also what this world is coming to, then I don’t know what is. Great comparison.

As an attorney, I’ve seen much scrutinized questioning on whether or not someone is indigent and unable to afford an attorney. I was surprised a few times hearing numbers given and denied, but nothing like this of available means. Hell yes, he should be denied of taypayers having to pay his appeal attorney fees.

Too poor and desolate NOW to afford counsel for his appeal. Where did the over $600,000 raised for his legal defense go? That’s rhetorical. We already know. But now he wants TAXPAYERS to pay for his appeal. I don’t see the Metcalfs relocating when they’re getting death threats and facing all of this public crucifixion all over the MSM and SM.

I appreciated his take and his positive feelings about it, but I do respect him being what I assume to him is being respectful by asking ms. Beverly as a very new member if he could invite another to their church. He’s only gone twice at that point and hasn’t been to church in years he said. This man just seems like a genuinely open minded person to renewing his relationship with Jesus, but also a respectful man knowing he’s brand new and maybe he should ask if it’s okay to invite a gay friend bc some Christian churches are very openly against homosexuality and he wouldn’t want either the church or his friend to be offended.

Any speedy trial element of anyone’s take as a basis for showing prejudice or bias is uninformed. The constitutional right to a quick and speedy trial ONLY lies with the defendant. His attorney had to have filed a written motion requesting such. Agree this was not a case of self-defense.

I’d abandon my cart and all shopping I’d done, call 9-11 and go straight to customer service to make an PS announcement. they’d call security and they could start tracking through their cameras.

@JustJenRX That toddler could’ve been hit by a car in the parking lot (too small to be seen or even recognized by vehicular cameras), could’ve been abducted and this man brought that child inside and stayed with that child until law enforcement arrived. She couldn’t be less grateful.

@ahbaaavic I don’t know how much he makes or her income, but it’s crazy he’s not gonna get credit on the calculation for health insurance premiums and daycare. What credit is he getting for what sounds like having these kiddos HALF of the time. He had better!

Also I did not take that picture with our more recently adopted cat to share. I took it for my husband who was idk out of bed and gotten up, left the door open and he jumped right in and snuggled right up. So I got cat-nap-trapped and was texting photos to him wherever he was in the house 😂
