@London_W4 Disgusting behaviour by the young woman, but maybe we should remember there was plenty of antisemitism in this country before we ever had a significant Muslims population.
A reminder that these people want to kill women like me simply because I'm a feminist, and because I want to preserve legal single sex spaces for women, free from biological men with male genitals.
A reminder that most Labour MPs would rather isolate and condemn women like me than support us.
A reminder that the *Women* and Equalities Select Committee has never, and will never hold an inquiry on the specific and open calls by men in balaclavas to kill women like me, a member of that committee.
A reminder that, while I am not allowed to walk to work alone, most Labour MPs think that the 'rights' of a few huge angry men who wish to occupy our spaces, and yell "punch a terf" outside my workplace, are more important than women like me.
A reminder that the Labour Party investigated and suspended women like me for liking tweets and championed the mediocre men who actively tried to have us barred.
A reminder that in 2026, this is still very much a world in which a few men are more important to most politicians than all women.

"A police operation to prosecute the perpetrators of Child Sexual Education should be
scoped and planned in detail by the Home Office..."
(from the recommendations of the June 2025 Casey audit on Group-Based Child Sexual Exploitation). Maybe someone should proofread.
@GoodwinMJ I experience beautiful parks, wonderful free museums and buildings, cheap or free classical music concerts, a transport system that works well most of the time, mostly happy inhabitants and visitors. There has always been crime here and we must adapt to deal with it better.
@HTSKchurch @RCMLondon This was the first RCM recital I'd been to at this church and the first time I'd heard the lute played live. It was cold, but still wonderful to hear the music. Many thanks to the performers.
@HTSKchurch @RCMLondon I feel I have not properly thanked these wonderful musicians. I travelled into London to hear this programme, and was rewarded with some magnificent music, by turns exciting and entrancing.
@HTSKchurch @RCMLondon It was a real treat to listen to all 4 pieces that were played. Some glorious playing to raise the spirits, and the Biber piece was mesmerising.
@alonevader@duolingo One person in my league got 10,000 points on one day this week. According to their profile, they have a *total* accumulated XP of 3900.
Something wrong somewhere!
@drg1985 You really need to remove this graph. I stared at it for some time thinking "what? this is nonsense!". Not everyone will scroll down to the corrected version with the axes switched!
@ByrneLuc@duolingo I've never seen a more catastrophic change to an app. Many lessons I never did have now been marked as completed, and without the practice function, there's no way I can now learn that material. @duolingo did you really think this through?
@Mrdini@Saltbar@tony_sutton I tried this out on a random BBC Weather video. According to Carol Kirkwood, “hello as we go through this week if you drink all day by day and by night and we’ll see return to say …”
Maybe they do need to provide proper captions & transcripts after all...
