Being an American in Europe is always wild cause someone will be like “oh that m is new” and you’re like wow when was it built, and then go “oh the 1600s” like…those cobblestones have existed longer than the country I live in

I have been like oh my siblings and I have a nice adult relationship where we don’t want to fight each other all the time but actually we just haven’t been locked in a confined space for a long enough time because about 8 hours into our international trip and it’s back.

The Shrek redesign thing reminds me of scientists that can’t show up to date dinosaurs renderings based on further research cause the public won’t accept it. So they have to keep using dinosaur images from the 90’s so the public will come To there museums.

Our current RPG game is a mini adventure set in Colorado, now I live in Colorado, but for some reason my friends have defaulted to New Jersey accents and when I pointed this out they were like “how are we supposed to know how Colorado people sound” ……..

On a related note, I live in Colorado, why does literally every store carry a dozen different Dodgers hats. There are more varieties of Dodgers hat than there are Rockies hats. I know the Rockies are terrible but it doesn’t excuse this many Dodgers cap variants.

Sometimes I try and sit with the fact that people my age have like careers and marriages with children and I’m making social media content and questioning my choices, but I suppose at least I’m not the kind of person who had kids and decided to put them on YouTube

I do think the ideal degree of fame is like being a side character on a popular podcast where you’re not the host but work behind the scenes and so your name gets brought up but you’re not like the central focus

There’s a new wave of bot profiles that use the same bio on dating apps and they say something along the lines of “looking for something real. Gluten free. Kind hearted and sarcastic” and I don’t know why but the Gluten Free thing drives me up a wall. The bots are faking celiac?

A couple years ago a psychic in LA read my palm and told me that the project I was working on writing would bring me great success, and both at the time and currently I don’t really buy into that, but maybe I should throw that story in my query letter and see what happens
