Fantastic couple of days. Yesterday in court for my first day of pupillage, today on the court for the England U19’s Futsal Training Camp/UEFA B Coaching Course.

@KatieAStephens Definitely bible highlighters and then the plasticy tabs to mark the different sections. I also found the normal post it’s good for annotating and for marking different sections for the drafting exam (so clear when in the exam which bits were for Drafting specifically)

Still in shock and disbelief that I received 2 offers of pupillage yesterday. So incredibly grateful and proud. For those who didn’t get the news they wanted yesterday, keep going! It took me 4 years and I was fully expecting to have to go for a 5th year! #pupillage #barrister

@ssashalowe I did the same, and then Covid hit and our ethics exam was moved to the day of my wedding… absolute nightmare, but thankfully we were still in the period of being able to push the wedding back a year as only 5 people would’ve been allowed to attend on the original date 🙈

@ShipBrief Theoretically fine, however in practice it’s near impossible. There’s already a huge shortage of maths teachers. Lots of schools already have cover teachers and non specialists teaching the subject just to meet the current requirements. How would we staff the extra lessons?
