Locals are not happy with regards a rise of “Asylum Seekers” within former RAF Wethersfield.
They’ve reached out so we will be attending Tesco Springfield Road on Friday 3rd July.
This is where we held our first demo and it probably won’t be our last.
Locals voiced their concerns and we’ve listened. They don’t want undocumented men being dropped off 365 years in our City.
Please attend if you can please also share for awareness.
People of Chelmsford
We completely understand that some people may feel nervous about attending our peaceful gathering on Friday 3rd July at 6:30pm.
Whether you’re concerned about being recognised because of work, being photographed, or simply worried about being unfairly labelled for attending, please know that you’re not alone.
After the gathering, a number of us will be heading for a couple of quiet drinks together. It will be very low-key, and we won’t be publicly advertising the location.
If you’d like to join us afterwards, simply send me a message. We’ll let those who have messaged know where we’re meeting on the evening.
Sometimes it’s easier to chat, meet like-minded local people, and get to know one another in a more relaxed setting. We’d love to see you there.
This is the woman behind the Women’s Safety Charter whose approach I have raised concerns about on a number of occasions.
She publicly stated that she did not want our group peacefully marching in Chelmsford to protest against the daily transport of people to and from the Wethersfield site. The Home Office has itself used the term “illegal migrants” in some of its recent communications, which is why I use that wording.
The same individual also took part in a protest outside Chelmsford Civic Centre during Nigel Farage’s GB News programme while waving Palestinian flags.
I find it difficult to reconcile repeated references to “safer streets” with what I see as a lack of focus on other issues affecting local residents, including gangs, county lines, knife crime, sexual offences, and immigration-related concerns.
In my opinion, anyone employed by or representing a local authority in a public-facing role should approach community safety issues impartially and engage with all residents, regardless of their political views.
From my perspective, this reflects a particular political viewpoint rather than a neutral one, and I will continue to challenge policies and publicly funded initiatives where I believe they are not serving the whole community.
I’m feeling all kinds of emotions tonight.
The Government has announced that more illegal migrants will be housed on MOD sites, and like many people, I’m struggling to understand the direction we’re heading in.
The Home Office presents these sites as providing only the basics, but from what we’ve seen at Wethersfield, the reality appears far more extensive. There are three meals a day, on-site healthcare facilities, welfare teams, activity coordinators, security staff and transport into nearby towns for appointments and other services. Whether people agree with me or not, these sites clearly require significant resources and taxpayers are entitled to ask how much they are costing.
Many local residents also question why people are being transported into surrounding towns on a daily basis. If the purpose is to accommodate people on a secure site, why are there constant shuttle buses? These are reasonable questions that deserve honest answers.
Then there’s the contracts. Companies providing transport (Foster Hartley) and other services stand to benefit from these large-scale accommodation sites. As more sites open, many people will understandably ask who is profiting from these decisions while local public services remain under pressure.
What also doesn’t sit right with me is the sheer scale of these sites. Housing well over 1,000 single adult men in one location is something many local communities have raised concerns about from the very beginning. Whether it’s the pressure on local infrastructure, policing, healthcare or community confidence, these concerns shouldn’t simply be dismissed by calling people names.
People can disagree with my views, and that’s their right. But questioning Government policy is not hatred. It’s democracy.
I genuinely believe the Government should be focusing on protecting our borders, reducing illegal immigration and investing in the people already living here, who are struggling with the cost of living, waiting lists, housing shortages and overstretched public services.
Tonight, I’m just left feeling frustrated. Something about all of this doesn’t sit right with me, and I know I’m not the only one who feels that way.
📢 FLASH PROTEST – FRIDAY 3RD JULY | 6:30PM
Following the Government’s announcement that capacity at RAF Wethersfield is set to increase once again, local residents have been contacting us asking that we gather before our next planned peaceful march.
Our last demonstration took place on 28th March, and our next peaceful march is already scheduled for 5th September. However, many people feel that waiting until September is simply too long given the latest developments.
As we’ve seen over the past months, any increase in capacity at Wethersfield means more pressure on local services and more shuttle bus movements into Chelmsford. Residents have told us they want their concerns to be heard now, not months down the line.
For that reason, we will be holding a peaceful flash protest on:
📅 Friday 3rd July
🕡 6:30pm
📍 Springfield Road, opposite Tesco / The Two Brewers
This is a peaceful gathering for local people who wish to make their voices heard respectfully and lawfully.
If you share these concerns, please come along, bring friends and family, and stand with your community.

AN ASYLUM seeker was arrested at a controversial migrant camp after it was discovered he is wanted for an alleged rape in Germany.
Iranian Ali Sadeghfar, 30, had been living at Crowborough Training Camp in East Sussexafter coming to the UK on a small boat.

I’ve been tipped off that the lefties will be coming out in their numbers on July 14th 1pm outside county hall to protest.
I will be attending the full county council meeting to ask a question but will not have any involvement with the demos outside.
🚨 7 GIRLS STILL MISSING ACROSS BRITAIN 🚨
Aged Just 11–16 Years Old
Before you scroll past tonight, take a moment to look at these faces.
As of this evening, at least seven young girls remain the subject of missing person appeals across Britain.
They come from different backgrounds, different towns and different parts of the country.
But they all have one thing in common.
They are missing.
GIRLS STILL MISSING

📍 Birkenhead, Merseyside
📅 Missing since 20 June 2026
🔴 Cleo (11)
📍 Isle of Wight
📅 Missing since 21 June 2026
These girls are not statistics.
They are daughters.
Granddaughters.
Sisters.
Friends.
Behind every missing person appeal is a family waiting for a phone call.
A family checking social media every few minutes.
A family praying for good news.
Before anyone twists this into something it isn’t, let’s be absolutely clear:
⚠️ We are not saying these cases are connected.
⚠️ We are not claiming organised crime is involved.
⚠️ We are not suggesting every missing child has been trafficked.
But we are asking a question that every parent should be asking:
Why are so many young girls becoming the subject of missing person appeals across Britain?
Police and safeguarding agencies repeatedly warn about:
• Online grooming
• Child sexual exploitation
• County lines recruitment
• Criminal exploitation
• Social media predators
• Vulnerable children being targeted by adults
These threats are real.
And every missing child matters.
If you recognise any of these girls, or have information that may help locate them, please contact the relevant police force immediately.
Please share this post.
One share could be the one that helps bring a child home.

‼️The Worst Kept Secret Just Got Bigger‼️
The Government has now confirmed that it intends to end the use of asylum hotels. While many people may welcome that announcement, there is a much bigger question that isn’t being asked:
Where will everyone go instead?
For residents across Essex, particularly those in Chelmsford and the surrounding areas, this is becoming one of the worst kept secrets.
Most people have heard about the former RAF site at Wethersfield, but far fewer know about the other forms of accommodation being used across the county. For example, William Court in Chelmsford is understood to consist of 98 luxury apartments being used to house asylum seekers. Many local residents have told us they had no idea this was happening.
At the same time, Wethersfield continues to expand. The site is now expected to accommodate around 1,700 people, raising a question many local residents are asking:
When will the next increase come?
Some people argue that Wethersfield is around 40 minutes from Chelmsford, so why should Chelmsford residents be concerned?
The answer is simple.
The shuttle buses operate every day of the year, transporting migrants between Wethersfield and Chelmsford. If accommodation numbers continue to rise, many residents believe that bus movements into the city will also increase.
This isn’t simply a debate about one site in rural Essex. It’s about the wider impact on local communities.
Many residents are concerned about increasing pressure on GP surgeries, NHS services, dental appointments, housing and other public services. Others worry about the effect on local businesses, policing resources and community safety.
We also know that some individuals who have previously been arrested and charged with offences have gone on to receive asylum decisions and are now living within local communities. While it is important to remember that being charged is not the same as being convicted, these cases have understandably raised concerns among many residents about public safety and the robustness of the system.
For us, this has always been about asking difficult questions.
How much more can local services absorb?
How many more people can existing infrastructure support?
What consultation has taken place with the communities expected to accommodate these changes?
Too often, residents who raise these questions are dismissed instead of being listened to.
Chelmsford City Council frequently states it represents local people, yet many residents tell us they feel their concerns are being ignored. There appears to be far more political energy devoted to symbolic campaigns than to addressing the everyday issues people raise with us; such as community safety, youth services, antisocial behaviour, NHS waiting times, and the pressure on local public services.
At Stand Up Chelmsford, we believe residents deserve the right to ask questions without being labelled or shouted down. Agree with us or disagree with us, open debate is healthy in a democracy.
Over the past nine months we’ve spoken to hundreds of local residents, attended council meetings, submitted Freedom of Information requests, organised peaceful demonstrations and encouraged people to engage with the democratic process.
Whether people support or oppose our campaign, one thing should unite us all: decisions that fundamentally affect our communities should be transparent, properly scrutinised and openly debated.
If the Government is closing asylum hotels, local communities deserve to know exactly what the replacement plan is and how it will affect them.
If you share our concerns and want to see the Wethersfield shuttle bus service suspended while a full review is carried out, please consider signing our petition:

Whatever your views, now is the time for residents to make their voices heard.
The Leader of Essex County Council is demanding that the Government ditches plans, set to be announced this evening (Thursday June 25 2026), to increase the numbers of asylum seekers at the Wethersfield camp in Essex by more than 60%.
Later this evening the Government will announce plans to utilise the full capacity at Wethersfield, increasing numbers from the current 766 to 1,245, the current maximum ‘surge capacity’ because of the closure of 20 more asylum hotels.
“I have a simple message for the Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood – Enough is enough. We are not a dumping ground for the result of a failing asylum system.
“Closing hotels is one thing but shifting the impact onto Essex communities is unacceptable and this is what will result from this increase.
“Those impacts are felt by people in towns and cities miles from Wethersfield itself – in Braintree, Colchester, and Chelmsford – because that is where the men living at Wethersfield are bussed to and from every week.
“As a consequence, our police are having to deal with incidents of illegal migrants with nothing to do with their time but hang around town centres and get into trouble, committing numerous crimes, behaving anti-socially and harassing people including women and girls. This stretches police resources as well as our own public health and mental health capacity.
“Essex County Council has said from the very beginning that the location of Wethersfield – in a rural heartland 11 miles from the nearest town – is completely wrong for a facility of this nature.
“I will be seeking an urgent meeting with the Government, and local partners including our Police, Crime and Fire Commissioner to challenge this latest afront to our residents.” Cllr Peter Harris, Leader of Essex County Council.
Remember the video that was circulating yesterday of the African migrant masturbating on a public beach in front of young children?
Well, here is the aftermath 🤛 💥

⚠️ PLEASE READ & SHARE – IMPORTANT WARNING
This happened today while my son was playing in the sea. A man approached him — I was close by and watching, but he clearly assumed my little boy was on his own. He went right up to him, touched his face without asking, and started asking him his name.
It happened directly in front of me. I jumped up immediately and went straight over — as soon as I moved towards them, the man hurried away quickly. My son told me clearly: “He touched my face, Mum.” 😔
I caught up with him and said firmly: “Don’t you ever touch a child again! That is absolutely disgusting behaviour.”
He was part of a large group of men, all appearing heavily intoxicated. Instead of acting ashamed or concerned, they all just laughed loudly and spoke amongst themselves in their own language — completely unbothered, as if this kind of behaviour is normal or acceptable to them. It was incredibly alarming, arrogant, and threatening to witness.
I managed to take clear photos of exactly what they look like and what they were wearing — attached here.
Touching or approaching a child you do not know is never okay — full stop.
I am reporting this formally to the police right away. I will update everyone once I have my official crime number, so if anyone else encounters them or something similar happens locally, reports can be linked together.
Please keep a very close eye on your children, stay alert, and share this warning — these men should not be able to act this way and simply walk away like nothing happened.
