@danorlovsky7@packers Penix TT was 2.27 last night, and he did just fine. Burrow's average is .02 seconds longer than Love on the year so far, and he seems to be handling it well.
@PFF Imagine being so objectively wrong in your assessment of a player that you need to write an article trying to defend it, because no one agrees with you. @PFF has been a joke for years. Players, coaches, and teams know it. Time to move on.
BREAKING: Jimmy Kimmel announces his interview with Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico will NOT air on ABC tomorrow, saying Trump’s FCC has threatened him, his show, ABC, its affiliates, and local stations over “simple traditional editorial decisions” and guest bookings.
Kimmel says the full interview will instead be posted to YouTube: “In the America we live in right now, that is the best that we can do until November.”
@SethWalder Additionally two of those QBs on the list were behind Caleb in QBR… for every stat-based “point” there can be a counter point. Leaving him off the top 100 is objectively, wrong.
@SethWalder Except the stats don’t match the eye test. There are at least 3, if not more, teams QBs on that list that would trade their QB for Caleb in a heartbeat. Sometimes great play isn’t measured in raw numbers and stats. The league/players know. Analysis are struggling to catch up.
@DickieV@ChicagoBears@packers@espn Respectfully, Dickie… stick to what you know. The same rhetoric has come from GB media, players, and coaches for the past 30+ years. Point is, this type of stuff has gone back and forth forever. Lean into it and let the rivalry shine.
@AaronLemingNFL And if those two TD drives happen earlier in the game then what?
Doesn’t matter when it happens, you can’t take plays out of a game just because it doesn’t fit a narrative.
His stats weren’t padded on some trickery. Elite plays are elite plays. Period.
@CHGO_Bears Such a lazy narrative. Give me the list of QBs that didnt pan out iand then went on to light it up somewhere else. Or the ones that were top tier and came here and immediately flipped. It's not where QBs go to die, it's just an organization that doesn't scout QB talent well.
@AaronLemingNFL This actually is not a great move, in my opinion. All depends on how they rank players, but many have Campbell as an elite talent - be it at tackle or eventually guard. You don’t pass on that, and you keep building the trenches with your premium pick.
@UnSportsESPN@EvCoRadio Several sources reported that Ben Johnson had eyed the Bears job as his #1 since December, as soon as Eberflus had been fired. Once he was comfortable with the structure he was all in.
So no… you’re wrong. All things being equal, he still would have gone with Chicago.
"The business is completely contaminated..."
Inspired by the pattern of agent representation w/ Chicago's recent hires, I asked qs about how NFL coaching agents do their jobs.
Reporting this was harder than reporting on an extreme religious group...
