We’re delighted to share highlights from 2023 National Thrombectomy Service Annual Report. 2023 was the busiest year ever for Endovascular Thrombectomy (EVT) in Ireland with 566 patients treated (409 in Beaumont & 157 in CUH), an increase of 17% since 2022.
Congratulations to the staff on Lane, Maguire, CCU + William Stokes who achieved 100% in PVAD audits. This was part of the recent #ZeroHarm Peripheral Vascular Access Device campaign.

@TUH_Tallaght have recently developed an award-winning app that helps chronic pancreatitis patients monitor their health.
Patients can use the app to monitor and report their symptoms daily, and if their health begins to worsen, the app immediately triggers an alert to inform the hospital.
