Literally nothing changed but the better understanding of the package. It will take a while before we see any sort of tangible improvements

@Louisxsun28 @McLarenF1 @LandoNorris @danielricciardo They are struggling hard on low-mid speed corners. Lost 0.4 to Leclerc in just the last two corners of the track.

They were fighting (and occasionally beating) that team last year. In my opinion, it is not acceptable for them to be this far back. P4 or not, the pace is bad.

@Louisxsun28 @McLarenF1 @LandoNorris @danielricciardo Doubt they would tell anything like that right now, but based on the data we have, I can tell you this car will not be able to get close to the top 3 (bar any miracles). They may still be able to get P4 in the constructors, but even that looks difficult. Disappointing either way.

@Declan_F1 @ZBrownCEO It's horrible being a McLaren fan. Ferrari fans were complaining before but at least they were competing for the championship. We have been in the dark for ages. When it finally started like it was going well, they pull themselves back into the dark. This is not okay.

@F1_4U @McLarenF1 @LandoNorris @danielricciardo Sorry to say, but this is different from before when we have had signs of hidden pace. They are genuienly struggling, and struggling hard. I wouldn't keep my hopes up if I were you. It looks like tomorrow it will be both cars out of Q3. Which on pace hasn't happened in a while
