@KingKong9888 The US body politic will never cut big spending socialist programs. It is political suicide. Revaluing gold is like pawning grandmas jewelry. It keeps your lifesyle going....for a little while. As for gold backed bonds, same thing. But holders wont lose everything
@KingKong9888 It makes sense in this context: revaluing gold/gold backed bonds is still a gimmick. If debt growth is not controlled, no financing scheme can work long term. We have to cut spending or gold revaluation/backing is a short term play.
@cb_doge Socialism, taxes, over-regulation. Reduce those, and let people keep what they earn, depend on government less, you will have more children. Third worlders in the first world do not generally shoulder the tax burden, so kids are "free" for them.
@MacleodFinance 100% there is no way to do one without the other, a detail that seems to elude financial reporting on this matter. Similarly, the causes and demise of debt is similarly elusive. Pervasive and widespread socialism will die with the debt.
@KingKong9888 I believe that the problem in the US is that our lawmakers and bureaucrats are all out to enrich themselves above all else. If there is a policy that is good for the country, but there is no profit - no insider trade available for congress to exploit - it will go nowhere
@kiteandkeymedia The leadership is drawn from the pool of past junior officers the most principled and capable of whom left the military because they realized principle and capability are not valued and often punished
@NakedHedgie They (Islam, Judaism, Chistianity) are also doing fine in Israel, if you didnt know. Also the world center for the Bahai faith, founded in Iran is in Haifa, Israel. I guess they have that in common.
@valexis22@KingKong9888 There should be a pipeline across Syria to the Med. I believe a lot of the past instability in Syria was to prevent such a development.
@Matt_Bracken48@KingKong9888 We have been told that the third world thirst for electrification will drive future commodity growth. Recent developments at the very least put this dream on hold, and the increase in living standards it would drive.
@KingKong9888 Without a doubt if built/expanded it will be bombed at some (multiple?) future points in time. That doesnt mean SA shouldnt build it to reduce Irans influence over them.
@Matt_Bracken48 I dont think the US refilling magazines is of concern to Iran, if indeed, the US destroys bridges and powerplants tomorrow. I think if the straight of Hormuz is opened, Iran will give up its intimidation of its neighbors to remove the US from the region.
@KingKong9888 Blabbering sets the stage for the end of NATO. Argue as you will about this being good or bad. Who knows what the Europeans doing their thing without NATO will bring?
@bitterdraught Suggestion: While you learn to grow vegetables productively, learn to dehydrate and store ones that other people grow. Did you recently transplant these from a sprouting tray? A little too much handling when transplanting can cause this. Don't ask me how I know.
@porterstansb@Drownomatic5000@TheWuhanClan Do you really mean to imply that Trump is the first politician/president ever to campaign on one thing and govern differently? Do you mean to imply that without our present leadership things would be fine? Hate him if you want, but try to be consistent.
