The Misinfo Bill is meant to protect us from the threat of "serious harm" online but the far bigger threat is to our Australian democracy as as the bill erodes free speech and drastically increase the power of big tech and government.

🚨 URGENT WARNING for AUSTRALIANS 🚨

Australia is speeding toward a China-style authoritarian control system, and the signs are unmistakable.

Combatting Misinformation and Disinformation Bill (MAD) is one of the LAST STEPS!

I'm going to succinctly and concisely explain how this system has been set up and prepared over decades and how we are at the final step with this latest bill!

1️⃣ No Right to Bear Arms

Unlike the U.S., Australia has no Second Amendment or constitutional right to self-defense with firearms.

Strict gun laws introduced after the 1996 Port Arthur Massacre have left Australians disarmed, reliant on the government for protection, and unable to resist potential overreach.

This creates a significant power imbalance between citizens and the state, and as we saw during the tyrannical Lockdown abuses of citizens during the Covid years, governments have no problem abusing their citizens with home raids, business shutdowns, and daylight assaults for anyone that dared speak out or protest.

It's all recorded, and we have the evidence - there is NO DENYING this.

2️⃣ Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs)

The Digital Assets Bill 2023 lays the groundwork for CBDCs, which will undeniably allow the government to monitor, control, and restrict your financial transactions.

Imagine a world where dissenters could have their funds frozen with the flick of a switch.

The Reserve Bank of Australia has already run CBDC Pilot Programs and is continuing to research how to introduce digital currencies and CBDCs into Australia.

3️⃣ Digital ID System

Enacted on May 30, 2024, this legislation established Australia's Digital ID system. It enables collaboration between the Commonwealth, states, territories, and the private sector to create a unified digital identity for Australians

The Government's Digital ID provider, myGovID, allows 150 government agencies and Government "service providers" to access your personal documents like your driver's license and passport.

In April 2024, the New South Wales Government piloted digital birth certificates, allowing over 18,000 children to have their birth records saved for sharing in a digital format.

Digital ID is a key part of the authoritarian control system as it enables mass surveillance, privacy violations, data breaches, and single-point identity control.

4️⃣ Misinformation and Disinformation Bill 2024

This legislation will allow the government to define and police what is “true” or “false” on digital platforms.

The government will be the single arbiter of what is and is not "Misinformation" and "Disinformation."

In other words, BIG BROTHER 👁️

Unbelievably, Mainstream Media will be EXEMPT; meanwhile, everyday concerned citizens and citizen journalists can have their posts and content labeled as misinformation and/or disinformation.

Obviously, the intention behind these exemptions is to win the favor of the MSM in promoting this Bill to the public and in offering the MSM protections against competing media platforms such as X!

Platforms such as X could face heavy penalties for hosting dissenting opinions, effectively silencing opposition to government policies, and silencing X!

The bill introduces several enforcement mechanisms to address the spread of misinformation and disinformation on digital platforms.

The primary consequences for non-compliance are civil penalties, which include substantial fines of up to 5% of the platform's global turnover.

While the Combatting Misinformation and Disinformation Bill 2024 doesn’t directly impose imprisonment for spreading misinformation, existing Australian laws can lead to criminal penalties.

5️⃣ Social Media Ban for Under-16s

A very recent proposed ban would bar children under 16 from accessing social media platforms, citing mental health concerns.

The whole point of the ban is to force ALL individuals who use social media across the country to upload identification. And what better way to do it than with your new Digital ID? Now you have no excuse.

Let me be very clear: this has NOTHING to do with mental health or protecting young people and teenagers from online content!

This is the same government that locked children and teenagers down in their homes away from friends, family, sports, school, and activities, which caused unending amounts of mental health issues for young people.

The government has no right to interfere with the parenting of children and teenagers. Parenting and social media access are up to parents and families.

This is 100% government overreach, and its entire intention is to force platforms like X to demand that their users upload IDs and share that with the government so that everything they do and say online is monitored per the MAD bill!

6️⃣ Toward Total Authoritarian Control via China-Style Social Credit System!

When you combine these elements—disarmed citizens, financial surveillance, identity tracking, censorship laws, and digital restrictions—you have the blueprint for a China-style social credit system.

It could not be more obvious and blatant.

This system will monitor and regulate every aspect of life: where you go, what you buy, what you say, and who you associate with.

Step out of line and zap; you will be fined, have restrictions placed on what you can buy and where you can go, be fired from your job, ostracized by society, attacked by the MSM, and potentially even imprisoned.

Should another COVID-style lockdown event occur, perhaps one related to "climate change" or citizens' "carbon footprint," and you decide to speak up or speak out, zap, you are toast!

If you want to whistleblow on governments or corporations breaking the law, zap, go.

Every facet of this latest MAD bill is designed to work with the rest of the system that I have laid out for you here, and WE MUST STOP IT.

Australia is already much further down the path to COMPLETE AUTHORITARIAN CONTROL as compared with the US - we are just a couple of steps away from being completely LOCKED IN this system, but, we can still stop it and turn it around.

STEP 2 - Follow @MADmustgo and sign their petition on their website!

STEP 3 - Call and email your members and senators, and DEMAND they vote NO or they will be VOTED OUT!
