Five soldiers have donated their organs in the past 6 weeks saving 25. Sergeant Yehonatan Samo z”l signed an Adi card and his family donated his organs saving six lives. “The fact that a part of him will continue to live…there is nothing more uplifting than that”
Over the past month, 4 soldiers donated their organs after their deaths. Shoham Ben Harush z"l, Rabbi Na'aran Eshchar z"l, Amichai Rubin z"l, and Roi Nahari z"l.
19 lives were saved by these 4 soldiers. R' Eshchar had already saved 1 life 4 months ago when he donated a kidney.
