Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting with H.E. Rolando Ruiz Rosas, Ambassador of Peru. We are grateful for the constructive exchange on migration trends, the Peruvian community in Norway, and opportunities for strengthened cooperation on diaspora engagement. 🤝

The Ambassador highlighted Norway's high human development index as a benchmark for other societies. His Majesty Harald V recalled with gratitude his private visit to Peru a decade ago, warmly welcoming Ambassador Ruiz Rosas and wishing him success in his mission.

Ambassador Rolando Ruiz Rosas Cateriano presented His Majesty Harald V, King of Norway, with his credentials accrediting him as Peru's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Norway at a ceremony held on 12 February at the Royal Palace in Oslo.

They also agreed on shared values in the multilateral sphere, as well as common initiatives promoted in various international organisations and instruments, and attention to the challenges posed by the current situation.

AMBASSADOR RUIZ ROSAS PRESENTS COPIES OF LETTERS OF CREDENCE:

Today, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, Ambassador Rolando Ruiz Rosas Cateriano presented copies of his Letters of Credence as new Ambassador of the Republic of Peru to the Kingdom of Norway.
