The week of our Open Days is finally here! We're excited to meet everyone coming to Oxford tomorrow and Thursday - let us know what you're up to while you're here using #OxOpenDay!
Student teams on Embley (Stewart 37) and King George (Etchell 22) put on a spectacular day of racing at #roundtheisland. King George was 18th in IRC Division 3C and 3rd in B&G Young Sailor Trophy (IRC).
Amazing result for our sailing teams at #RoundTheIslandRace. Embley (Stewart 37) - 1st in 4 categories: B&G RTI Young Sailor Trophy (ISCRS), ISC Rating System Div 7A, Spread Eagle Trophy - O/A Winner ISCRS Grp 7 and Silver Gilt Roman Bowl & Salver – 1st O/A ISCRS.
A lovely little afternoon tea to say an early goodbye to some of our students as they fly home after completing their A Levels.
Travel safe; you’re wonderful people!

A valuable series of questions to consider ahead of booking a gap year:
Do local people have a say?
Do they gain a fair share of profits?
Is there as little damage to the environment as possible?
Does the work continue after you leave?

“A gap year gives you real world experience. It can focus your mind on a career path or even change your mind. A gap year takes the pressure off the next step.”
So great to welcome Tim from African Impact today to speak to Year 12 #gapyear#travel@African_Impact@EmbleyHampshire
It's never too early to get ahead on your personal statement 🏃💥
To help you out, here are some dos and don'ts - save this for when you get started! 💾 📝
Our final lecture of the day from Dr Lindsay-Marie Armstrong, ‘Clean Carbon Technologies’. A super taster on a critical subject.
“It is about having the mind where you can say, “have you thought about this?”, we need that completely blue sky thinking”
Thank you @unisouthampton
